One of the last remaining earthquake-damaged high-rises in Christchurch's central city is to be sold, as is where is.
The owners of the Forsyth Barr building in central Christchurch have settled their insurance claim on the 17-storey building, which was badly damaged in the 22 February 2011 earthquake.
Damage included the collapse of a staircase which cut the exit route for some staff.
Colliers International managing director Hamish Doig said reports show the building can be brought up to 100% of the new building standard.
Mr Doig said the building has multiple potential uses, subject to consent, including an apartment complex, a hotel or premium office space.
