A unit of the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority has released final details of properties it will have to acquire to complete the north and east frames for the new central city.
Most of the land needed has been purchased but the unit has been in negotiation with some owners about whether they would need to be part of the Government's land acquisition.
The buildings which will be acquired include the IRD building, the Pavilion building, i-Stay Apartments on Cashel Street and Calendar Girls.
Among those that won't be acquired are the Les Mills Gym, the Orion substation and the Christchurch Club.
The Christchurch Central Development Unit said it had begun sending out final offers to the owners of properties needed for priority areas.
