The deadline for Crown offers for earthquake-condemned land in Christchurch's Port Hills has been extended by two months.
The Crown has gone to the Court of Appeal after the High Court found a group of owners of red-zoned land should get 100% of the Rateable Value, not the 50% that the Government is offering.
Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee says until there is a final outcome it is not possible to progress the Port Hills zoning review.
Mr Brownlee says given the delay, the final expiry date for all Crown offers in the Port Hills will be extended to 31 March next year from 31 January.
