今年大选的海外选民投票今天起正式开始。
选举委员会表示，海外选民可以在10月14日大选投票结束前进行投票。 据悉，大约有7.8万名登记选民的地址是海外地址。
在新西兰以外的国家总计有74个现场投票点投入运作，其中10个在澳大利亚，中国和美国各有4个，英国有1个。
在新西兰，提前投票从下周一开始--选举委员会表示，上一届大选时，有三分之二的选票是在大选日以前就投出的。
