A man accused of stabbing his former wife to death in a triple stabbing has appeared at the High Court in Auckland today.

Brent Donavan Scott is charged with murdering 41-year-old Heidi Welman-Scott.
The 45-year-old has been remanded in custody until February next year.
Mr Scott is also charged with attempting to murder his ex-wife's daughter, Taryn Scott and her partner Matija Miletic, both aged 22.
Justice Lang said he hoped the court would be able to schedule a trial date before June.
