Some of the country's best-known musicians have scooped up top honours at the New Zealand Music Awards.
The awards, which honour artists across 20 categories, was held at Auckland's Spark Arena on Thursday night.
- Lorde swept the show with six wins
- SWIDT, Lorde, Teeks, Theia and Devilskin performed
- Recent APRA Silver Scrolls Maioha winners Alien Weaponry are nominated for Best Māori Artist
- The controversial Urban Music category has been culled and replaced with two new categories, including best soul R-and-B artist and best hip hop artist.
