Police are looking for a man who robbed a taxi driver at knife point in Lower Hutt last week.
The man was picked up by the taxi outside Queensgate Mall at 2.45am on Friday, 14 June.
Soon after he demanded money from the taxi driver.
While defending himself the driver's hand was cut and he received facial injuries.
The offender ran away with cash.
He is described as medium to solid build, wearing a black cap, white-hooded sweatshirt, a dark-coloured jacket over the hoodie, and light-coloured trousers.
