A woman has been released from hospital after being stabbed in a park in Wellington yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the Brooklyn Central Park just before midday.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The offender is described as a man in his 30s, around 1.75m tall, with brown skin, dark eyes and short dark hair.
Police would like hear from anyone with with CCTV footage of Central Park or the surrounding areas, including Brooklyn Road, upper Willis Street, Webb Street and Aro Street.
