As Covid-19 spreads around the world, it can be daunting keeping up with the information. For RNZ, our responsibility is to give you verified, up to the minute, trustworthy information to help you make decisions about your lives and your health. We'll also be asking questions of officials and decision makers about how they're responding to the virus. Our aim is to keep you informed.
It's been another dramatic day as New Zealand clocks up its first week of the lockdown.
The country has had its biggest jump in the number of Covid-19 cases, with 89 new cases.
Meanwhile, Bauer Media has announced it is shutting up shop in New Zealand, and long-running magazines such as The Listener and the NZ Women's Weekly have been shut down.
And more police are being sent to the Far North after complaints about people breaking the lockdown rules.
