One person has died after an LPG tanker and two cars crashed earlier today on State Highway 1 near Manakau.
Two other people were also seriously injured in the crash, which happened about 5.15pm.
The road was partially blocked and had to be closed while emergency services attended the scene, but it has since reopened.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
