A 22-year-old man has died following a crash involving one vehicle and two motorcycles in Christchurch.

The crash, at the intersection of Halswell Road and Aidanfield Drive, was reported to Police at 6.45pm.
The man died at the scene.
Police said another man was transported to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries.
The road remains closed as the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
