Two injured in Ōtāhuhu incident

Two people have been injured and taken to hospital following an incident in the Auckland suburb of Ōtāhuhu.

Auckland Transport says the section of Avenue Road, between Atkinson Avenue and Church Street, has been closed.

Due to a serious incident on Avenue Road, Otahuhu Avenue Road between Atkinson Avenue and Church Street is closed by emergency service responders.
Bus 324 will detour via Church St, Princes St and Atkinson Ave but will not be missing any bus stops.

One patient was seriously injured and another was moderately injured, St John ambulance said.

Both have been taken to Middlemore Hospital.
