A large blaze at an industrial building in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga has been put out.
There are three trucks still at the scene, and one truck will remain overnight to monitor for hotspots or flare-ups.
The fire at a motor vehicle workshop on Galway Street broke out at about 4pm, forcing the evacuation of nearby homes.
One person suffered moderate burns and has been taken to hospital, Fire and Emergency said.
About 100 firefighters tackled the blaze at its peak.
Fire and Emergency said 15 trucks and 60 firefighters were initially sent to fight the blaze at the single level building in the suburb of Onehunga.
The fire was estimated at 20 by 30 metres.
