A person has been killed in a car crash in Tasman.
Emergency services were called just before 1am on Friday to the intersection of Selwyn Street and Abel Tasman Drive in Pōhara.
The vehicle, with a sole occupant, crashed into a power pole. They died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit was advised, and Police said work has begun to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
