State Highway 3 near Blueskin Road in Westmere is closed after a serious crash.
The Whanganui crash was reported at 10.15am, with the Serious Crash Unit later advised.
Diversions are in place at Blueskin Road and Western Line.
Motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
