The rugby league World Cup-winning Kiwis utility Nathan Fien has announced his retirement at the end of the NRL season.
Fien will continue his involvement in the game as well as following other career interests in finance, by moving into a captain/coach role with local side Thirroul Butchers.
Fien is currently with St George Illawarra, winning the NRL title with the Dragons in 2010.
