The world motor cycling champion Marc Marquez has broken his right leg in a dirt track practice accident in Spain, but he hopes to be fit in time for the season-opening Qatar Grand Prix in a month.
The 21-year-old Spaniard, who last year became the youngest rider to win the world title, and the first rookie to win in 35 years, won't need surgery because it was a clean break with no ligament damage.
