The New Zealand medal tally has risen to eight at the Commonwealth Games after athletes picked up another five medals on day two in Glasgow.

The judokas added two silver medals to the New Zealand coffers with Moira de Villiers claiming silver in the women's 70 kilogram final.
Auckland's Adrian Leat also had to settle for silver after being defeated in the Men's 73 kilogram class.
Leat considered quitting the sport just five months ago, and says the medal holds special significance following a family tragedy earlier this year.
Leat says the gold medal fight represents one of his best ever days in competition.
The track cyclists were again in impressive form following their first day's success, with Sam Webster becoming the first New Zealander to win a men's sprint title at a Commonwealth Games.
It was the 23-year-old's and New Zealand's second gold in Glasgow, with team-mate Eddie Dawkins claiming bronze in the men's sprint, after Marc Ryan had ridden to third in the men's individual pursuit.
