The New Zealand cricketers have been beaten by 30 runs in their opening warm-up match in India against a President's XI in Mumbai.

Batting first the hosts made 295 for 9 from their 50 overs, with their top three doing the bulk of the scoring.
Seamer Trent Boult was the best of the Black Caps bowlers finishing with figures of 5-38.
Spinner Todd Astle left the field half way through his first over of the match with an apparent groin injury. He will be assessed over the next 24 hours and an update will be provided.
In reply the Black Caps were all out for 265 in the 48th over.
Tom Latham top scored with 59 batting at number five, with captain Kane Williamson the next best with 47.
Boult wasn't too concerned about the loss in the tour opener.
"It's seven or eight degrees back in New Zealand at the moment," Boult said. "A bit of a shock for the system to come here. It's a big challenge, but I think we were outplayed nicely by a quality Indian side today."
Boult said you can take away more than just results from warm-up games. "These [the warm-up games] are good opportunities to try out different tactics, in terms of a bowling plan, to come here and just try and bowl good lines and lengths against some of the best players in the world .It [bouncers] is probably not the best recipe to getting them out. I think they negated it nicely, played some very good shots. Probably today it wasn't successful, but a lot of credit is due to their openers especially , they set a good platform for rest of the batting line-up to propel off."
The Black Caps play their second and final 50 over warm-up match on Thursday, before the opening one-dayer against India in Mumbai on Sunday.
