The Los Angeles Lakers have grabbed a 2-1 lead over the Boston Celtics in the best of seven NBA finals series, after a stunning final quarter performance from Derek Fisher helped LA to a 91-84 game three win in Boston.
Although Kobe Bryant scored 29 points for the Lakers it was Fisher who stole the headlines scoring 11 of his 16 points in the final eight minutes.
Fisher scored the crucial baskets that stifled the Celtics comeback but the veteran guard says there's still plenty of work to be done.
Game four of the finals is in Boston on Friday.
