The Auckland fullback Paul Williams has signed a one year contract to play for the English rugby club Sale.
Sharks head coach, the former All Black Mike Brewer says 27-year-old Williams is an exciting player, he'll add power to their three-quarters and will fit perfectly with Matt Tait and Mark Cueto.
Williams was named Auckland's player of the year in 2009.
