Pakistan have been buoyed by their finish to the Twenty20 series against the Black Caps as attentions quickly turn to the two test matches.

The tourists have won the third and final T20 international in Napier by four wickets, ending New Zealand's perfect start to the summer.
The two sides now have three days to prepare for the first test, which starts in Mt Maunganui on Boxing Day.
Pakistan coach Misbah-ul-Haq says it was a "much-needed win".
"Really pleased with the performance and hopefully we can take this confidence into the test series and perform well here," Misbah said.
"Winning always give you that kind of confidence and self-belief that okay now we are there, now we can just finish the games, we can win the games, we can really compete in these conditions.
"That was a much-needed win to boost the confidence of every individual in the team and as a whole."

Wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan guided Pakistan to victory in Napier, scoring a career-best 89 (59 balls) opening the batting.
He will lead Pakistan in Mt Maunganui, with regular skipper Babar Azam ruled out with a broken thumb.
Misbah says the innings is great for Rizwan's "form and confidence".
"He's been [performing] very well in the test format but I think this performance will go a long way and hopefully help the Pakistan team."
Despite the short turnaround, the coach believes the team is ready for test cricket after the Pakistan Shaheens beat New Zealand A in a four-day match in Whangārei last week.

"They played a first class game and won that game. I think that is great. That is the ideal preparation for us.
"And now Rizwan scoring runs I think that will give us a morale boost also to just go and play the tough test series in New Zealand conditions."
Pakistan remain "hopeful" they will have their have their regular skipper back for the second test in Christchurch.
"Today he started gripping the bat and played a few balls with the tennis ball so let's see how he progresses," Misbah said.
"Just hope that he gets better and better in coming five, six days and obviously during the test match."
