The Wellington Phoenix football coach Ricki Herbert is happy his side showed what they're capable of in their 2-2 draw with Newcastle in the Australian A-League.
The Phoenix needed two penalties from striker Shane Smeltz to get a share of the points with the defnding champions, the equaliser coming in the last minute.
Seeking back-to-back wins for the first time in the club's short history, the Phoenix looked very good for long periods, however Herbert admits to being concerned that the side did appear to switch off at times, but they didn't throw in the towel, which may have happened previously.
The result leaves the club in seventh position in the eight-team competition with six points from seven matches with a win, three draws and three losses.
