Paul Coll has kept his British Open squash title defence alive in Birmingham after surviving a five-game quarter-final against Egyptian rival Marwan El Shorbagy.
After four tense games, New Zealander Coll took control in the final stanza, winning it 11-1 to clinch victory
8-11 11-8 11-6 7-11 11-1 in just under 70 minutes.
Coll has set up a semi-final against top seed and world number two Diego Elias of Peru on Sunday morning.
New Zealand's Joelle King also faces a semi-final against the top seed in the women's draw.
King, seeded fourth, will face Nouran Gohar of Egypt on Sunday morning.
