The White Ferns have suffered a second heavy defeat in their one-day international series against England, beaten by eight wickets in Worcester.

England wrapped up the three-match series by dismissing New Zealand for 141 and then coasting to 142 for two in the 25th over, with opener Maia Boucher reaching 100 not out.

Amelia Kerr top-scored for the White Ferns with 43, while England spinner Sophie Ecclestone took five wickets.

Englandwon the first one-day International by nine wickets.

England bowlers Lauren Filer and Kate Cross struck in the powerplay to leave New Zealand 10-2 after dismissing Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer.

White Ferns captain Sophie Devine looked dangerous with the bat before Ecclestone saw her stumped for 28.

Kerr and Maddy Green (30) steadied proceedings for the tourists before the latter was bowled lbw by Charlie Dean.

A number of quick wickets followed including from the returning Alice Capsey who had Jess Kerr caught.

Bouchier scored her first international century from 88 balls with Nat Sciver-Brunt selflessly blocking balls in the closing stages to ensure there were enough runs remaining for Bouchier to reach the milestone.

The final match of the three-game ODI series takes place in Bristol on Thursday and is followed by five T20s between the sides.
