White Ferns captain Sophie Devine conceded England are teaching her side some "honest hard lessons" after going 4-0 down in their Twenty20 international series.
New Zealand are on the verge of a winless white ball tour going into the fifth and final match at Lord's on Thursday following the seven-wicket defeat, having already lost the one-day international series.
It followed a familiar script, with the Black Ferns failing to score enough runs after winning the toss, reaching 103 for eight. England coasted to 104 for three in the 12th over.

Isabella Gaze (25) and Maddy Green (24) mounted a late rearguard with the bat after England leg-spinner Sarah Glenn (4-19) had New Zealand's innings in tatters at 52-5.
In response, openers Danny Wyatt and Sophie Dunkley (both 26) put on 54 off the first five overs to put England's chase on track.
Devine admitted her team were not stepping up to the challenge.
"England are certainly giving us some honest hard lessons and we're not learning from them," she said.
"Wickets in clumps, you can't do that against the best sides... you can't do that if you're going to put a competitive score on the board. Losing four, five wickets in the space of a few overs is too much.
"Hopefully we can put out a bit more than we did tonight [in the final T20]. Really important when we pull on the Silver Fern, so we want to show what we can put on."
