The Olympic medalist Hayden Roulston has been included in a 40-strong New Zealand team for the Oceania Track Cycling championships in Invercargill, despite being forced from last week's the Tour of Southland by illness.
Roulston is part of the men's endurance squad, which will also use the championships to accumulate Olympic qualifying points in some events at the four day championships which start November 21.
Strong teams are expected from Australia as well as the Pacific Island nations.
