It takes a lot to kick the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James off the NBA basketball headlines, but a young New York Knicks rookie Jeremy Lin has done it.
Lin-sanity has swept the city and North America with 23-year-old Lin, who was undrafted, leading the Knicks on a unbeaten run in his first 6 starts for the club.
Lin is the first player to have at least 20 points and seven assists in each of his six career starts.
He shot 27 points and had 11 assists as the Knicks beat Toronto in their latest game, but he's playing down his influence on the Knicks winning run.
Jeremy Lin is an Asian-American and is the first American-born player of Taiwanese or Chinese descent to play in the NBA.
Lin's parents emigrated from Taiwan in the 1970's.
