    Renaud Garcia-Fons manages to sound like a master multi-instrumentalist by using just one instrument, the five-stringed double-bass. He summons up all manner of sounds, by combining the classical and Middle-Eastern repertoire and takes the double-bass into the soaring violin register as well as using the textures of the oud and cello (Enja ENJ-9478)
