    Segu Blue: Led by Bassekou Kouyate, Ngoni ba is Mali's first ngoni quartet. This traditional wooden lute is the special instrument of griots from Segu, a city of the Bamana people in central Mali. Bassekou Kouyate's 2006 album Segu Blue focuses on songs from the Bamana griot tradition (Out-Here Records OH007)
