    Maurice Till, In Memoriam

    A repeat of Tim Dodd's interview with the man who was one of the first pianists to sustain a performing career while remaining in New Zealand. During the 50s, 60s and 70s he accompanied in recitals and broadcasts many visiting overseas singers and instrumentalists including Victoria de los Angeles, Rita Streich, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf and Pierre Fournier. Included in the programme are recordings of some of these performances sourced from Maurice Till's own archive (RNZ)
