    Jenny McLeod's Hōhepa is New Zealand's newest opera, though she worked on it since the late 1990s. As it approached its première at the 2012 New Zealand International Arts Festival, Amelia Nurse went behind the scenes of NBR New Zealand Opera's production to see what's involved in producing a completely new opera (RNZ)
