1:30 Pēpi Splint designed for tiniest hospital patients

A new way to avoid skin injuries on hospitalised babies has just been successfully trialled at Wellington's neonatal intensive care ward.

The device is called a Pēpi Splint and has been devised to avoid adhesive tape being used to keep IV drips in place.

Dr Deborah Harris,  a neonatal nurse practitioner at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington led the study

1:50 3D technology being used to save heritage buildings

The Unitec School of Architecture is preserving our OLDEST buildings with the LATEST technology.

Their research uses 3-D modelling to record heritage buildings in ditigal form.
