1:15 Kiwi crowned CATAN world champion

The strategy board game CATAN has exploded in popularity in recent years. 

Dr Hamish Dean recently went up against the world's best players in Malta and took out the title.

1:25 15 year old takes out school's top academic prize

Being awarded your high school's Dux student is an astonishing feat, but one Hawke's Bay teen has truly broken the mould. 

15-year-old Tapas Kant took out the top academic award at Havelock North High School. This isn't the first time he's done the impossible, in fact he passed NCEA Level One maths when he was still at intermediate.

Tapas joins Jesse to celebrate his success.

1:35 Massey University student completes entire degree in te reo Māori

Last week, Suraya Goss graduated from Massey University with a BA in mātauranga Māori or Māori knowledge.

Across the three-year degree she made the choice to submit every assignment and exam in te reo.

Massey University have called it a historic milestone. 

Suraya talks to Jesse about why she made the decision and what's next.

The NZ Firefighters Calendar has been heating up Kiwi walls since 1990 and over the years has raised over $800,000 for the Child Cancer Foundation. 

The calendar still exists, but recent editions have swapped out sexy for adorable.

The documentary is called TikTok Boom.
