A group of over-70s will make their stage debuts in Wellington this weekend with an original show challenging preconceptions around ageing.

It's part of a programme using theatre and performance to help those in their so-called 'third age', stay active, have fun and tell their stories.

And it's being adapted to include those with advanced dementia.

Nicola Pauling runs Voice Arts and talks to Jesse about their programme.
