1.15 Hamilton NZ's fastest growing city

Where do you think the best place to live in New Zealand is?

The peaceful shores of Nelson? The alpine breeze of Taranaki, the crystal waters of Lake Tekapō?

After 27 years, Hamilton has overtaken Tauranga as New Zealand's fastest growing city, according to the latest data from Stats NZ.

To celebrate the mighty Hamilton, we speak to Hamilton Mayor Paula Southgate.

2:20 Made in NZ: Holiday Records

Made in NZ is a weekly feature where we celebrate the businesses out there making things across the motu.

Today we're heading to Auckland's Wellesley street, the home of Holiday Records.

Opened in 2018 it bought vinyl pressing back to our shores for the first time since the EMI plant closed down in 1987.

What started out as two men one press has expanded into business capable of churning out over a thousand records a day.

Holiday Records co-founder Ben Wallace talks to Jesse.

2.30 Expert Feature: Customs

Since 2002 there have been 13 seasons of Border Patrol, showing numerous quantities of meth, cocaine and apples being seized at our boarder.

It's an incredibly popular show in New Zealand and is screened around the world. If it has piqued your interest now is your chance. What have you always wanted to ask a Customs expert?

Today's Moday Expert Feature is on Customs - what happens behind the scenes at our boarders - airports, marine ports, and postal service.

Customs Group Manager, Intelligence, Investigations and Enforcement Terry Brown is with Jesse to answer your questions. Text 2101 or email jesse@rnz.co.nz if there's something you'd like to ask.

3:10 Ted Talk Curator Chris Anderson

Be brave. Give what you can, and then be absolutely amazed at what happens next.

Ted talk curator Chris Anderson believes this mantra can remedy some of the world's biggest problems. In our constantly connected era,  kindness and generosity can go viral instead of anger and outrage.

His new mission starts with a new book, about the science of kindness, the power of individual acts, and of course, the stories that inspire us to be the change we want to see.

His book is called Infectious Generosity: The Ultimate Idea Worth Spreading.
