1:15 Supergroove to super movies

Today a handful of New Zealand's best composers received nominations for three major awards that will be presented at the APRA Silver Scrolls later this year.  Looking down the list, one name appeared over and over - Karl Sölve Steven. Karl is a multi-genre artist and composer who has already won a number of APRAs over the years - and if you're a 90s baby, you'll surely know his band Supergroove.

This year he's a finalist for the feature film and series awards, with two nominations in each category -
he's being recognised for his work on the films Uproar and Never Look Away, and the series' Testify and Black Coast Vanishings.

1:35 Futsal fame!

In a few short years, Futsal went from niche after-work activity to one of the fastest growing sports in New Zealand and the world at-large. That fact is being solidified by our teams finding success at international tournaments, including the Futsal Ferns, who just took out the first-ever OFC Futsal Women's Nations Cup.

Joining Jese is Futsal Fern Danielle Bradley, who was also bestowed the Golden Gloves award as the tournament's best goalkeeper.
