1:15 Sushi no longer the healthy choice

Sushi is seen by many as a healthy food option, especially for workers looking for something quick and affordable at lunchtime.

But how authentic is the sushi that we're buying and what should sushi lovers be looking for to ensure it's both tasty and nutritious?

Food and nutrition myth-buster Jennifer Bowden is with Jesse to offer her take and tips.

1.25 60 years of movie memories

When Des Savage walked out of Te Awamutu's Regent Theatre last Friday, he left behind 60 years of movie memories.

Des' love affair with the big screen began as a 16-year-old selling ice creams at his local theatre. But while he might have shown his last film, he still plans to go to the flicks.

Des joins Jesse to discuss his long career as a projectionist.

1.35 International genre-bender comes home

Mark de Clive-Lowe is a truly global artist with deep roots in both New Zealand and Japan.

He is a composer, pianist, beatmaker, and DJ whose career spans three decades.

Known for his genre-blending approach to jazz, hip-hop and electronic music, Mark's performances are a seamless fusion of live remixing and traditional jazz elements.

With over 20 albums to his name, he continues to push musical boundaries, and is set to perform at Somethin' Else - A Weekend of Jazz, part of the Auckland Live Summer in the Square, on the 15th and 16th of February.

Mark joins Jesse today live from Tokyo.

Mark De Clive lowe is wearing a white shirt and black robe. The robe makes him look sort of like a cross between a priest and a Harry Potter character. He ls leaning on what looks to be a wooden fence and looking at the camera. You can only see the top of the fence so it's possible that it's actually a bridge. This is backed up by the idea there appears to be a similar wooden railing about a bridge width behind him, Behind whatever it is is some soft focus nature.

2.30 Expert: Deborah Lewthwaite on Bras

Research shows that most women are wearing the wrong bra size. Ill-fitting bras can cause discomfort, skin irritation, and shoulder pain, and experts say getting the fit right can be lifechanging.

How do you ensure the right fit? What's the best way to wash your bras? How often should you replace them?

These questions and more will be answered by Deborah Lewthwaite, general manager of The Fitting Room, which specialises in underwear and swimwear.

3:10 Retracing the first human migration

A journey of 38,000-kilometers begins with a single step.

12 years ago this month, journalist Paul Salopek set off on a journey that follows the first human migration out of Africa, starting in the great Rift Valley in Ethiopia where the first human fossils were found with plans to end at Tierra del Fuego at the Southern Tip of South America.

He calls the journey the "Out of Eden" walk with the support of the National Geographic Society.

He sends dispatches from the road that tell the story of each place he goes.

He speaks to Jesse today from somewhere in Japan.
