ACT Party leader David Seymour says the political game being played by the government and the National Party over leaked Budget details is immature and misses the point.
He says the real issue is Treasury can't keep confidential information safe and the public should be very concerned about that.
The National Party leader Simon Bridges will reveal later this morning how his party gained access to secret Budget details.
RNZ political reporter Jo Moir spoke to Mr Seymour on Wednesday night, before Treasury released its findings from the police.
She asked him what he thought of Mr Bridges holding a reveal-all media conference before the Budget.
