Over the past century, Aotearoa New Zealand has played an unusually pivotal role in humanity's understanding of quantum optics, the study of how light and matter interact.
Dr Jacob Ngaha, a postdoctoral fellow at the Dodd Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies, is part of the new generation of quantum physicists leaving their mark on the field.
