9:20 Filming in New Zealand: Under The Vines

You may've caught New Zealand's latest screen offering on the TV last night, Under The Vines, starring Rebecca Gibney and Charles Edwards, of The Crown and Downton Abbey fame. The six part romantic comedy commissioned by TVNZ and Acorn Films is set in Central Otago, with the incredible vineyards around Gibbston Valley and Alexandra landscape. Joining Anna to chat about the production and our local film industry is Executive Producer Richard Fletcher

It's an uncertain time to be planning any big events - a spate of cancellations were announced this week, most recently Auckland Pride Festival's annual Big Gay Out, which takes place every February. But one event planned for March is full steam ahead, and is out to educate Kiwis on staying safe in the water. Waterbourne Beach Festival organiser Laurence Carey joins Anna.

10.15 How the tsunami alert system works in Aotearoa

When the eruption in Tonga happened on Saturday evening, tsunami alerts rang out across the Pacific Islands - including here, in New Zealand.

5 days on, we're still learning about the extent of the damage, but new estimations from GNS suggest waves of up to 15m were possible.

So how do we know this, and how do our alert systems even work?
