The driver and sole occupant in a single-vehicle crash is dead after an accident in Māngere on Thursday.
Police said they were called to the crash on Ihumatao Road at 5.36pm.
The driver was found dead.
Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash.
"Police continue to encourage drivers to take extra care on the roads, watch your speed levels, take breaks if travelling long distances, and remove any chance of distraction by not using your mobile phone."
