The government has confirmed a nearly $60 million funding boost to support the modernisation of WorkSafe.
Workplace Relations Minister Iain Lees-Galloway said the government was investing $57m over four years to help WorkSafe plan for the future.
He said the Wellbeing Budget funding would help WorkSafe use data and information to do predictive modelling, and ensure regulations and actions were "targeted, aligned, and flexible".
Mr Lees-Galloway said it would also help WorkSafe expand to examine work-related harm, mental health and hazardous substances.
