    William Dart looks at the extraordinary variety and diversity of instruments which, in some way or another, are related to the grandest of pipe organs. The harmonium works its plaintive charms in this programme, with music by Dvorák, Franck and the late German chanteuse, Nico while Tatar composer Sofia Gubaidulina explores the avant-garde potential of her native bayan. Featured Concerto of the Day is Villa-Lobos' 1955 Concerto for Harmonica and Orchestra (RNZ)
