Cow Cuddling Co at Goldsburough Valley is the creation of Lawrence Fox, who felt the healing power of cows for himself.

1:35 Does sleeplessness make us less charitable?

We all know that a lack of sleep can put you in a bad mood, but a new study has found it can actually make you more selfish too!

US researchers also found a link between daylight savings and charitable donations.

Eti Ben Simon from the University of California Berkeley authored the study and he talks to Charlotte about a lack of selflessness produced by sleeplessness.

1:45 "The Voice" of darts arrives in Hamilton for the NZ Darts Masters.

Hamilton is about to host some of the world's best dart players at this year's New Zealand Darts Masters.

After a two-year hiatus, the Masters has already garnered plenty of attention with thousands of tickets already sold.

Among those at this weekend's even is famous Darts Referee, Russ Bray is known by fans as "The Voice".

He talks to Charlotte about the competition and his role as referee.

3:35 Critter of the Week: The elephant weevil

The Elephant weevil, Rhynchodes ursus, is a stumpy little insect covered in velvety-orange fuzz that uses its bulbous rostrum (snout) to lay eggs in native trees.

Although the weevil larvae spend their lives tunnelling inside decaying trees, they're not safe from predators - one native parasitic wasp uses elephant weevil larvae as nurseries for its babies.
