It also indicates that teens are less aware of the health risks associated with vaping.

1:35 Maths jam weekend planned in October

It's all about OMG for maths enthusiasts in October.

The annual Oceania MathsJam Gathering (OMG) will be held in Christchurch, which brings together like minded maths oficionados to play with puzzles and games as well as discussing their interests.

The keynote speaker for the event is Dr Jeanette McLeod, the co-founder of and Director of Maths Craft New Zealand.

Today we meet Polly Markus who's popular Instagram page, @miss-pollys-kitchen, has led to her putting her recipes in to book form. Her love of food goes back a long way, but she honed her skills as a crew chef on board a super yacht.

This week’s critter is the blue-eyed triplefin – a beautiful little fish with bright blue eyes and candy cane stripes on its body. 

Males put on a show to lure in females and are protective fathers. Once the female lays her eggs, males will dutifully guard the nest until the baby fish hatch.
