A person died and two were taken to hospital after a crash on SH5 in Tapapa in the Bay of Plenty on Sunday.
Anyone who witnessed the three-vehicle crash at 3.15pm is asked to contact police.
Further, any vehicles that drove past the area are asked to send in dashcam footage to police.
The two people in hospital have suffered moderate to serious injuries.
