1:15 Girls 'n Gasoline

While an increasing number of women are getting into the motor industry, it's fair to say that car mechanics has traditionally been a male dominated field.

Now a Christchurch based mechanic is trying to change that.

She is holding workshops across the country to empower women around cars and teach the basics of maintaining and fixing a car.

Dr. Pferdt  says there is a way to design not just technology, but to design and shape the future we want to live in.  He shows how to foster innovation, creativity, and adaptability in an increasingly uncertain world in his book, What's Next Is Now: How To Live Future Ready.

Imagine a tech bro who wants to be seen as a bit of a hippy but isn't. That's kind of what he looks like.
