Abuse survivor on release of the Royal Commission's final report into abuse in state care

Rawiri Waretini-Karena was in institutional care for 11 years and was later convicted of murder. These days he's a lecturer and researcher. He says he experienced more violence in boys' homes than in prison. Waretini-Karena spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
