British astronaut Tim Peake has shared photos of New Zealand taken from the International Space Station with the world.
Peake, who is on board the station for a six-month tour in low earth orbit, tweeted the pictures from his account, saying "New Zealand looking stunning in the sunshine!".

His tweet has already been shared more than 1200 times.
The photos show the area around Mount Cook National Park, Christchurch and the Lake Wanaka/Lake Hawea area.
Mr Peake is former regular British Army Air Corps officer, currently serving as a current European Space Agency astronaut.
